Five people rescued from Cambridge flat after fire in stairwell in Hertford

Three adults and two children had to be rescued from a flat in Cambridge after a fire in the stairwell in the early hours of this morning. Two crews from Cambridge and a crew from Cottenham were called to the blaze at 2.40am in a property that housed flats in Minerva Way, Kingand#039;s Hedges

Children and adults got their hands dirty over the weekend at a family event all about cacti at the Cambridge University Botanic Garden. Youngsters were shown a range of spiky desert-dwelling plants, before being encouraged to mould their own versions out of a slab of clay.

Visitors to Wimpoleand#039;s North Park and#8211; which was created by Brown and#8211; will find nine structures that are designed to be a mixture between an easel and a viewing glass.
